My name is Silvia Geißler and I live with my husband and children in beautiful Thuringia. We breed wolfspitz out of passion because wolfspitz are absolute family dogs. They live with us in the house and garden and are basically always where we are.

At the age of 14, I bought my first wolfspitz (Molly vom Albuch), who lived with my parents and reached the proud age of 15.

When we started thinking about getting our own family dog, it was clear from the start - it HAD to be a Keeshond.

So we started looking for a VDH Wolfspitz breeder, because our new puppy should have purebred and, above all, HD-free parents. Since I already knew that VDH breeders usually pay particular attention to quality - i.e. the health of the animals - rather than quantity, only one of these came into question for us.

We quickly found a list of registered breeders on the homepage of the German Spitz Association.

On this way we got to know the wolfspitz kennel "German Grey Shadow's", from which our two wolves descended.

You rarely see Keeshonds on our streets these days - perhaps because Keeshonds generally have an unjustified but rather bad reputation in society or because some people are afraid of caring for their lush fur. It is therefore my heart's desire to bring people closer to this great dog breed and to ensure that healthy, purebred Keeshonds are preserved.
